Third Grade - We finished the clothing lesson. Our new lesson is on feelings.
What's the matter? ... Que tienes? We will review the following phrases:
I am hungry (tengo hambre), I am sleepy (tengo sueno), I am thirsty,
(tengo sed), I am cold, I am warm, I am scare, I am nice, and other
feeling words. I will continue to include music in our lessons.
Fourth Grade - Lesson 7 - We will talk about how they are feeling. Saying what
they have and how they are. Tienes ... Tengo....
Learn to tell our age and ask about the age of others.
We will learn when to use (tu) and when to use (usted) when addressing an adult..
Discuss some ways Spanish-speaking families celebrate birthdays.
Fifth Grade - Lesson 9 and 10 - We will continue to study and learn about breakfast, lunch and
dinner vocabulary. What do you want for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
What do you want to drink? Talking about what we want to eat. We will
also cover things you can and cannot do, and special likes and dislikes.
Finally, we will learn some of the foods in Spanish-speaking countries.
Sixth Grade - Lesson 8 - The Bank and Restaurant - We are learning the name of people
and things found in the bank and restaurants. The money reports were excellent.
We learned about the monetary value in most Spanish-speaking countries.
Lesson 9 - La ciudad - The City
In this unit we will learn names of more places in a city.
We will talk about where people and places are. We will also describe how
people are feeling and what things are.
Also we will learn more about Spanish-speaking countries.
