Bienvenidos a la clase de la Senora Ramos

Welcome to our fun and wonderful Spanish classes.  I will be teaching third to sixth grade.  Como estan?  All students will be taught and encouraged to greet and use courtesy words in Spanish .   Short conversations in Spanish using the 7 key questions will be done weekly with the new units.  My main goal is to teach the language, the culture from Spanish-speaking countries, and for the children to enjoy learning Spanish.
It's very interesting to learn and compare how much we all have in common.  The children are also encouraged to practice new words at home and in their community.

We will have many projects throughout the school year about the different celebrations in Spanish-speaking countries.
  • Hispanic Heritage Month
  • Day of the Dead
  • Country Reports (Each child in 6th grade will be assigned a country for the year).
  • La Navidad (Christmas)
  • Cinco de Mayo
  • Dia De las Madres
  • Different Independence days
Third graders are practicing the Alphabets and spelling their names in Spanish.

Fourth graders are now finishing greetings, courtesy words, and classroom objects.
Unit 2 will cover shapes/colors/animals/sizes

Fifth graders are learning about body parts, clothing and Day of the Dead.

Sixth graders finished working with Hispanic Heritage Celebration (Country Reports), Sports & Hobbies,
The community and different occupations, and Day of the Dead celebration.

2nd Marking Period it's full and fun and wonderful new lessons....
